C2H5OH + H2S → C2H5SH + H2O This method has the advantages of simple process, easy availability of raw materials, low cost, high product purity and continuous production. The main disadvantage is that the reaction temperature is high, hydrogen sulfide is highly toxic, and has strong corrosion to the equipment.
